I'm glad you enjoy my writeups! I have some knowledge of Greek mythology (Percy Jackson childhood, the Odyssey in high school English class) but I've never read the Iliad and I felt like I could still follow it pretty easily. It definitely felt like a very different interpretation of the ancient world than what I'm used to seeing- a lot of names are spelled differently, but there's a helpful labeled map in the front and a who's who guide in the back of the book lol
